The PRAHARI Club of J.P.M.Senior Secondary School for the Blind conducted awareness sessions on Substance Abuse and Addiction, focusing on awareness, prevention and responsible decision-making for Classes 6 – 12
The session featured a real-life case study making the discussion informative and interactive for students.
Through the session, students explored important aspects of addiction, including how substance use can affect the brain, why addiction can be difficult to overcome, the importance of seeking appropriate help, and how peers can respond responsibly to someone facing substance-related difficulties.
The session concluded with a message of awareness, empathy and vigilance, reinforcing the spirit of PRAHARI.
